MoneyHash and Tap Payments Partner to streamline Payment Orchestration Across MENA

MoneyHash, the payment orchestration platform, has entered into a strategic partnership with Tap Payments, a payment technology provider serving the Middle East and North Africa (MENA), to deliver a unified payment infrastructure for businesses in the region.

The collaboration integrates Tap’s payment gateway services directly into MoneyHash’s orchestration platform. The move is designed to help merchants navigate the fragmented payment landscape of the MENA region by offering a single control layer for managing diverse payment methods and routing.

Taming payment fragmentation

As digital commerce expands across the Middle East, businesses face increasing pressure to accept a wide variety of local payment methods while maintaining operational reliability.

The integration addresses this by combining MoneyHash’s ability to abstract payment complexity with Tap’s extensive regional infrastructure. Tap Payments currently supports businesses across nine markets in the MENA region, providing access to a broad range of online payment methods and payout capabilities.

By connecting these systems, merchants can now extend their payment method coverage through Tap while utilizing MoneyHash’s software to manage routing, monitor performance, and optimize costs across different channels.

Mohamed Amir, head of sales and solutions at MoneyHash, commented on the necessity of flexibility in the current market: “Payment flexibility is becoming essential as businesses operate across different markets and digital channels. Integrating Tap into our platform strengthens our ability to support merchants with reliable payment infrastructure that reflects how customers prefer to pay across the region.”

Scaling with confidence

For Tap Payments, which serves over 120,000 businesses, the partnership offers a way to provide clients with deeper operational control as they scale.

Anwar Marafi, group head of business and financial institutions at Tap Payments, said: “Our focus at Tap Payments is helping businesses run reliable payments across MENA, with local payment method coverage and the control teams need as they scale. Integrating with MoneyHash allows us to extend that value by supporting merchants with an orchestration layer that helps them scale payment operations across markets with confidence.”

The companies stated that the partnership reflects a shared vision to build resilient, modern payment operations that can balance specific local market requirements with regional scale.
